Spencer Lynx - Reaching out to local children

Spencer Lynx is registered with the Charity Commission (Registered Charity No. 1188217). Launched in 2019 by Spencer Hockey Club, its aim is to deliver hockey, the game we love, to local children who have not had the opportunity to play hockey. We provide free Sunday hockey sessions to state school children in South West London, primarily in Wandsworth and Lambeth.

The sessions are built around fun and enjoyment, while teaching hockey skills and nurturing general sporting ability. Our ultimate goal is to provide a pathway into Spencer Hockey Club, providing financial support if needed. We want to inspire children to play sport throughout childhood, and into later life.

Spencer Lynx was founded with financial support from England Hockey, Surrey Hockey Association, and the members of Spencer Hockey Club. We have received additional funding from the Wandsworth Grant Fund, the Active Lambeth Fund, private donations, and our own fund-raising activities. We are also grateful for the support of our generous sponsors: Y1, OPRO,Total Hockey, Hornsby House School and The Thomas' Foundation, for providing our kit and equipment, and funding our coaching. Take a look at our Support Us page for more information.

If you would like to support us, whether as a sponsor or partner or in any other way, please email us at spencerlynxhockey@gmail.com.
