Spencer Lynx wins the Connecting Wandsworth Award 2023

This new award recognises a physical activity project that has increased activity levels, improved residents health and wellbeing and strives to break down barriers, make physical activity and sport accessible to all people and communities across Wandsworth.

Spencer Lynx is England Hockey's Diversity & Inclusion Champion

Spencer Lynx are immensely proud to have been crowned as our National Governing Body's Diversity & Inclusion Champion 2023, for bringing hockey to children from diverse communities across South London. Hosted at the England Hockey Awards in Leicester, the ceremony brought together clubs and organisations from all over the country, and international athletes, themselves the recipients of a number of awards. Spencer Lynx is Active Wandsworth Sports Organisation of the Year 2022

Amidst a stellar shortlist of community organisations, Spencer Lynx was thrilled to receive the Active Wandsworth Sports Organisation of the Year 2022. This recognition gives us a springboard from which to reach more children across our community, helping them grow through sport.

Spencer Lynx Wins Active Wandsworth Awards 2019

The Spencer Lynx team has won the Wandsworth Active Award for Best Activity Project 2019. They were presented with the award by Sky Sports' David Garrido, and were joined on stage by Spencer Lynx Ambassador, GB and England International, Rhys Smith. The Awards were held at Wandsworth Town Hall, and celebrated the work of amazing volunteers throughout the borough. There were speeches by some inspiring young sports stars and sports coordinators, who do incredible work in the community.
