The Trustees

Our Trustees are:

Amrita Sheldon: Treasurer

Charlotte Hucker: Co-Founder, Coach, Governance, Fundraising & Schools Liaison

Marcia Gurney-Champion: Co-Founder & Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Karen Price: Human Resources & Youth Council 

Donna Kirby: Co-Founder, Fixtures, Fundraising, Communications & Social Media

One or more of the Trustees are on hand at every training session, whether as a manager, welcoming the children and their families, and/or as a coach. All are volunteers, and passionate about Lynx and providing local children with opportunities to be active and fulfil their potential. All are DBS-checked and have undergone child safeguarding training.

 Coaching Staff

Our Director of Hockey is Emma Robertshaw. Emma is an England Hockey Coach, and also coaches in the England Hockey Talent Academy programme. Emma is assisted by Young Leaders, who are experienced players, and volunteer coaches from Spencer Junior Hockey Club and Spencer Hockey Club. All coaches are DBS-checked and have undergone child safeguarding training.

 Child Welfare Officer

Our Child Welfare Officer is Julia Oldham. If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child playing at Spencer Lynx, or about child welfare or safeguarding in general, or wish to file a complaint, please contact Julia at juliaoldham@me.com.
