Spencer Lynx Roehampton will be a new partnership project between Spencer Lynx and Ibstock Place School to provide a free hockey club for state school primary children who have not had the opportunity to be physically active through sport. The Headteachers of Heathmere Primary School SW15 4LJ and The Alton School SW15 4PD have confirmed that they wish their children to take part. A 21- week programme of hockey training will be delivered, entirely free of charge for participants, in the form of a weekly Tuesday after-school club at AELTC Roehampton. Attendance awards will encourage children to maintain involvement. International hockey players will act as Ambassadors, providing inspirational role models. We are grateful to the Wandsworth Grant Fund, HMCK and The Wimbledon Foundation for their support for this project.
